It was summer 2002 that I graduated with a MSci in Physics with Astronomy from Durham University. In the two decades that have followed I have worked in income generation for Educational Charities including Durham University, Sunderland University, Giggleswick School, Wakefield Grammar School Foundation and Durham Cathedral Schools Foundation.
Over that time I have won a few accolades, run conferences, was a trustee of IDPE for seven years, and am still an active trustee for two charities here in the North East.
I’ve been asked to write some blog posts – initially about my experiences setting up and running a Giving Day for Durham Cathedral Schools Foundation – but who knows – maybe people will be interested enough that I will continue to post after that.
